Wedding Dresses

Okay,
So off to the side is a widget with pictures of wedding dresses I liked for one reason or another. If you click on the widget it will take you to the Picasa album where you can leave comments on individual pictures. The address for the album if you want to go straight there is http://picasaweb.google.com/miranda.abernathy/WeddingDresses?feat=directlink

I look forward to your opinions!

  3. And just so y'all don't have to scroll though my comments, #15 and #32 were my favs -
However, I think Miranda would look killer in fabulous in the simple, sweet cuts she picked out.

  5. Comments from Patty:

The dresses are stunning especially #2 but is that you?
    #6 Is definitely NOT OHIO.
#7, 1 14 (would love a black and white wedding!), 15, 17, 28, 26 Hot? Ohio October is in the 70s or 60s. Satin probably would be hot, 28 and 32 are my picks.

  6. Liked 31 initially, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought the fabric would be too shimmery--you don't want to look the the silver bullet. Also how wrinkle resistant would it be? You've got to sit down sometime and you don't want to get up looking like you slept in it.
Love the embroidery on 28, but I wonder how full the skirt really is. I think anything with too full a skirt won't look right. Speaking from the short end of the population, my experience has been that the wide skirts just make you look shorter.

17 gets my vote. It has a great line to it and I love the insets. It's feminine but not fussy.

  8. Wow, beautiful dresses! I really can't picture how any of these dresses would look on you, though. Would you like to go to a bridal shop together and try some dresses on? Totally entails a ride on my bike, woot!

  9. Fantastic Plan! I am kind of hoping that I will get a smidge skinnier before the actual wedding, so maybe let's wait until the end of this semester. xoxo and thanks for the offer!

  10. From Dennis:

I really think you have to try them on to narrow down your selection. Also, your mom and your friends will probably give the best advice in choosing one.
